The Compliance Dashboard is the first screen you see after sign-in. It is designed to answer one question in under five seconds: where is our HIPAA program weakest right now?
What it does
- Rolls your compliance score up by rule (Security, Privacy, Breach) and safeguard category (administrative, physical, technical).
- Surfaces overdue tasks, expiring evidence, pending policy acknowledgements, and open risks on the same screen.
- Drills from any tile into the control, the evidence file, and the person responsible.
- Shows change over time, so a board or auditor can see the trajectory, not just the current state.
How it maps to HIPAA
The dashboard is the operational face of §164.308(a)(8) — the periodic technical and non-technical evaluation the Security Rule requires. By showing posture, drift, and remediation progress on one screen, it is also the artefact that answers a request letter from OCR without a scramble.
Where it fits
The dashboard is the entry point to the Compliance Management module — it summarises every item the module tracks. For how the control-and-evidence model works underneath, see Evidence Management.
